We are equipped with folders that feature four folds with punching option. Perfect binding is produced on highly efficient Müller Martini ACORO A5 for adhesive bindings.
Hard covers (rigid boards) can have rounded spines or flat backs. Book blocks can be sewn for hard as well as soft covers. Booklet binding features standard or Euro staples. Thanks to a highly efficient technology line we are able to bind hundreds of thousands copies of booklets in a very short time. Books can be shrink-wrapped on request.
Finishing: – offset varnish (dispersive); – foil up to B2 (matte, glossy).
In May 2005 a brand new Polar 115 XT cutter with jogging table was installed.
This purchase of the new bindery equipment was assisted by the European Union: the Sectoral Operational Programme - Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises for years 2004-2006 and was partially financed within the Objective 2.3 Increasing Competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises through Investments.
This new investments was a part of the technology line modernisation project.
In August 2007 a brand new ACORO A5 Perfect Binder by Müller Martini has been implemented. This new investment was also assisted by the European Union: the Sectoral Operational Programme - Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises for years 2004-2006 and was partially financed within the Objective 2.3 Increasing Competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises through Investments. Thus the next step of the modernisation project has been completed.
In November 2007 a new MBO – K760/4SKTL+Z6 sheet folding machine was installed. This step marked the end of the process of investments aimed at achieving the highest quality of perfect bound books.
The REAME ME bindery is equipped with fully automatic Aster HEADOP and Krisk HEADOP sewing machines.
B2 Jupiter thermal lamination system by D&K allows high quality hot lamination in matt or glossy film.
The year 2009 begun with installation of an automatic hard cover casing line of Kolbus brand, model BF40 + FE40. The line allows automatic calibrating, rounding and reinforced backing, headbanding, casing-in, forming and pressing. Currently READ ME Printing House facilities are complete and able to produce a full range of booklet, perfect bound and hard covers.
